KT&G Launches First Jointly Developed Brand 'Hogshead' with Philip Morris USA（200 pcs）

(Seoul = News1) Reporter Lee Kang = KT&G has partnered with Philip Morris USA (PM USA) to launch 'Hogshead,' a high-spec cigarette brand.

According to KT&G (033780) on the 11th, the company launched Hogshead, a standard cigarette brand with 10 mg of tar and 0.8 mg of nicotine, in the domestic market on the 30th of last month, following joint development with PM USA.

Hogshead is a high-spec product featuring the highest tar and nicotine content among cigarettes currently sold in Korea. It is characterized by the realization of the original flavor inherent to tobacco, achieved by aging premium American Virginia yellow tobacco leaves in wooden casks for 24 months.
